Bob From his earliest memories, Bob has wanted to play drums, and he still hopes to achieve his ambition. He remembers sending his parents barmy for a drum kit, although it was many years later before he finally got a kit, which goes to demonstrate the wisdom of parents. He started to learn guitar at the age of 25 but knew he still wanted to play drums. In 1992 he bought his first kit and joined his first band, playing with other bands as well. He joined Breakaway (as the band was later to become) in 1993.
